The past couple of weeks have been slightly hectic, hence the missed blog post last weekend. So I thought this weekend I’d give you a little bit of an insight into what I’ve been getting up to (HINT: I literally have gone upwards)…
So I say hectic, but I have just had the most relaxing 10-day holiday in Torreveija with the girls. This, however was much needed as I have spent the past year in my final year at uni and when I wasn’t at uni, I’d be working as a part-time marketing executive, so a break was well and truly deserved! This holiday was extra special as it was a reunion of my best friends from my year’s work placement with Disney Destinations International, who I hadn’t seen since November. We stayed in my friends family villa which was incredible, so as you can imagine, we had such a good time. I’d love for you to take a look at the holiday vlog I produced, which is on my Facebook page. I needed to practise using my new GoPro Hero 4 Session before taking it to Bali with me in September, which I’m so excited about! If you have any feedback then that would be fab.
York Races took place the weekend I got home and going to the races is something I love to do in the summer. It’s an excuse to get dressed up, enjoy the sun and have one or two (or three) drinks! Here’s my twin sister, Emma, best friend, Ashley and I…
As you may have seen a couple of months back, I produced a blog post featuring my 15 Favourite Graduation/Occasion Dresses. From the list, I chose the off the shoulder white lace midi dress from Missguided and I love it! It’s so versatile as you can compliment it with many different colours. I went for red as it was a bit different for me and it also added a splash of colour and vibrancy to the outfit. The bardot straps also lift up to wear over the shoulders which was extremely handy when Olly Murs took to the stage so that I could wave my arms in the air (big fan over here!!).
The main reason as to why I’ve been quiet on the blogging front recently is because I’ve moved from my hometown, Harrogate, to Newcastle to live with my boyfriend. We have only known eachother for a year so some may think we have moved very quickly, but like many couples, we were tired of having a long-distance relationship. When the opportunity arose to move up north, I was more than happy to take it. I was also so lucky as the job I really wanted came up, as if it was fate! So I have just finished my first week as a PR Coordinator at Barbour’s head office in South Shields and although I am so so tired, I have loved every minute. Though, getting back into the routine of full-time work is hard!!
I’m now going to spend the rest of the weekend unpacking endless amounts of bags with nowhere to put them…so this will be interesting.
What are your plans this weekend?
