5 Met Gala Hot Picks

This morning, we were graced with a vast array of amazing dresses featured on our Instagram news feeds from The Met Gala 2017. This years theme came from Japanese Label, ‘Comme de Garçon’, which is “like some boys” in French apparently! There were so many gorgeous looks but I’ve managed to whittle them down to my top 5…

1 ) First up, Joan Smalls. This is my favourite look, wearing an incredible fiery red number from Bespoke Topshop. Would this be acceptable for graduation, do you think?…

2) Next, we have Rihanna, who definitely made the biggest impact on the red carpet! As we know, she’s definitely not one to shy away, so she was one of the few that took the theme to town, wearing a 3-D petalled look from Comme de Garçon’s Autumn 2016 collection. Is anyone else wondering, how on earth did she manage to sit down once inside the venue?!

3) Blake Lively never disappoints. Although less obvious than Rihanna, Blake pulled off the theme magnificently, appearing like a blue phoenix rising from the flames, with her Versace plunging gold dress and the striking blue feather train. On a negative note…from the looks of things, I stand absolutely zero chance with her husband.

4) Selena Gomez dressed to impress for her red carpet debut with boyfriend, The Weeknd, with her gorgeous yet subtle Coach number that oozes elegance.

5) And finally, I LOVE everything burgundy and off the shoulder at the moment, so Taylor Hill had to be in my top 5. Her Carolina Herrera gown is so elegant yet striking and her make up compliments it to perfection!

I would have included Madonna in my hot picks, but I couldn’t see her?

Who’s on your Met Gala hot list?

Soph xx
